The blog has been resting while we’ve been enjoying a visit from our friend Caroline. We think she had a great trip that was also a pretty accurate representation of our varied life on the road and of the many contrasts of Colombia. We finally turned south away from the scorching coast and headed into the cooler mountains, towards Bogota, where we are now. We’ve eaten delicious food along the way, hiked beaches and mountain trails, wandered colonial towns and driven through some spectacular mountain scenes. We even gave Caroline a birthday to remember by crashing into a truck on a mountain pass.
More of that soon. For now, here’s a photo gallery of some of the things we’ve been up to in the last few weeks. Click on any image to open the slideshow.
